In the past I have been to a lot of technology events. Some of them have been gritty or very basic. Others have been quirky and a lot more fun than I had been prepared to expect. There were even more than a few filled with government agencies looking for the latest hackers that could join their ranks and help them with cyber security. As you can imagine, technology events vary in their substance and style.
But sometimes what you want is a truly luxurious event. It can be as much an excuse to get away for a couple of days of pampering as it is to get up to date on the latest and greatest in the industry.
