Infographic on Amazing Google Facts

If you saw The Internship starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, you would have learned a couple of amazing facts about Google. For example, the scene about the green paddle for “yes” and the red paddle for no goes much more than just for training. It is an actual method used by Googlers for quick group discussion. A lot of Googlers were happy to see that reference to their company on the movie.

However, that is just the beginning. There are tons of more amazing facts about Google. Here is another one, known as the Rule #1:

And wait until you hear the ones about the actual Google search engine. For example, did you know that you can set up your Google homepage in Latin and Klingon? (The second one should make Klingonese authority Marc Okrand quite happy!)

The folks at Promodo.com designed an awesome infographic on these and many more amazing facts about Google. And they know heck of a lot about Google! 18 of their employees have a Google certification and the company as a whole is a Google partner. On top of that, they are also proficient in Yandex, which is the leading search engine in Russia. If you wanted another Google fact, well here it is: in Russia, Google has less than 30% of market share! Between 50% to 60% of market share belongs to Yandex.

Enjoy the infographic!

I started using eBay out of necessity. While planning our wedding, I ended up buying two wedding dresses for my wife and she only ended up using one. I turned to several places to try to sell it: Craigslist, Facebook and more than one wedding planning forum. In the end, eBay worked, where all other online markets failed. Personalised Plectrums and More Promo Ideas for Musicians

The other day I received an email from a “fellow” musician that wanted to pick my brain about promo ideas for his band. I say “fellow” because I was theoretically a musician back when I used to live in Mexico. After taking some digital mixing courses at a contemporary art museum, I ventured into creating my own mixes, which are still around at my Myspace page. While I was definitely not the most creative musician (BTW I’m the one in the middl in the picture above), I did have a knack for promoting my band as many as ways as possible.

Here are 3 great promo ideas for musicians.

The mobile Internet population is sizeable and rapidly growing across all age groups. A key driver for mobile Internet use is email access. Email technology provider Return Path found 88% of mobile phone users checked their email via a handheld device daily.
